For those of you who are not familiar with this incredible trade show, Maison et Objet describes itself as a “global experience, encompassing the latest products, the brightest creatives, indispensable workshops and inspirations”. But it gets better! You get all of this for five days! Five whole days when you can grab as much inspiration as you need and get to know all the best home design brands in the world. Because, yes, they’re all there!
Maison et Objet is more than just a trade show. It is an experience that “analyses the emotional, the creative and the commercial aspects of the sectors”. There, you can also “meet the major players, find innovative solutions, and learn from industry experts”. This year you can also enjoy Maison et Objet’s new online platform “Maison et Objet and More” (MOM) where you can get to know all about it!
THEME “SILENCE”
During the last four years, M&O Observatoire have selected a different theme for each year and edition. After “House of Games” in September, the choice for 2017 may surprise the audience: Silence.
“Like a remedy to the interminable racket of words and images, silence has a calming effect on the hyperactive, garrulous and loud times we live in. Home is a place where calm is restored and a growing desire for serenity can be expressed”, explains Elizabeth Leriche, scenographer of the next Space of Inspirations.
The simple luxury of silence
The journey will begin within a room, saturated with images and video screens, which will transport the visitor in a bewildering uproar. A corridor of “decompression” will escape this din. This one leads to another place, where will be displayed the word “Silence”, with an “e” without bar and where earplugs will be made available.

You can also expect to have thousands… Thousands of booths from multiple interior design brands that you will not want to miss! At the top of our heads, we can recommend that you visit DelightFULL’s booth, that will be in Hall 5.
