Hem is the first global, vertically integrated, online design studio, offering original, high quality modern designs, with mass customisation options and easy assembly solutions, in a consumer direct model, at affordable prices for everyday consumers.
The design studio created the modular Palo Sofa that blew everyone’s mind on imm cologne 2015. The innovative frame is outfitted with removable struts letting you rearrange the components at a moment’s notice. With a single-seater, a two-seater, a corner sofa, and an ottoman, you can mix and match the minimalist pieces to your liking.
The various components can be added, removed, or rearranged whenever your circumstances change. If you only have space for a two-seater sofa now but move later, the system allows you to purchase other pieces at any time.
German brand Walter Knoll showed an exquisite selection of new products during this year’s imm Cologne furniture fair, including a chair designed by Foster + Partners.

Amongst the new products of note is “Isanka Armhair” from the Isanka Collection designed by EOOS, featuring distinctive in character and superb leather upholstery detailing. Picture’s scenario includes Amy Floor Lamp by DelightFULL, an incredible reading lamp, perfect to enjoy with your favorite book at any setting.
On the re-issue front, Walter Knoll brought back to life the “Votteler Chair” Designed in 1956 by Arno Votteler. Votteler Chair speaks of the inspirations of it’s time – Scandinavian objectivity and austerity in the best possible sense.
Duke Floor Lamp Duke, on the picture, is an elegant floor fixture with a short silhouette and a single swing. Also by DelightFULL. How charming?
