Many stores are already filling up their stocks with Christmas decorations and lot of public places, and even private, are already heavily decorated. We are all getting into the holiday spirit, but if you think a Christmas Tree it’s a thing from the past, then you’ll be pleased to know that a lot of people are replacing the traditional trees for pineapples. That’s right, people are dressing up pineapples (yes, the tropical fruit) like Christmas trees and are using them to decorate all the rooms of the house.
This Christmas trend has taken Social Media by storm and it’s already a huge success on Pinterest or Instagram. If you think about it, pineapples are much more mobile than those huge trees. They also seem perfect for homes of all shapes and sizes. They are also adorable, but most of all they are compact, so you can even have one in each room of your house following a specific theme or each of them decorated in a different style.
It’s true it’s one of the best kitsch design ideas of 2017, but it can’t fully replace the good old Christmas tree, an icon of Christmas! It’s a good and extravagant idea for involving children in the Christmas decoration process, and It’s also a crazy fun and creative idea to apply t your house. But I think this serves only has a small and fun complement to your Christmas decoration and, most of all, to your fabulous Christmas tree.
You should try it, but please don’t putt all your gifts around a pineapple!
