Bathroom Inspo: Dreamy Showroom By The Stella Collective – If you are in need of some inspiration for your next bathroom makeover, then today Modern Home Decor brings you the dreamiest showroom to be inspired by. The Stella Collective has designed a lush, pastel-hued space that perfectly showcases Astra Walker’s chic bathware range with a romantic touch.
Created by Melbourne-based design studio The Stella Collective, the calm, oasis-like space occupies a spot on Paddington’s Gurner Street and takes bathroom inspiration into a new territory.
With a palette that was inspired by the blush tones of Jaipur and the fern tones of Australian botanicals, the Astra Walker showroom highlights the breadth and versatility of the brand’s bathware range.
“Astra Walker wanted to push things to the next level and explore the possibilities for their retail experience,” explains The Stella Collective design director Hana Hakim. “They wanted an interior that not only celebrated their legacy but an interesting point of view to showcase the many facets of their range.”
From the brass-toned basin settings offset by soft pink walls to the tropical print wallpaper adjacent to the onyx vanity; the possibilities for Astra Walker’s range of products has been carefully considered and brought to life by the design.
The showroom also includes a library of tapware, encased in an elegant emerald cabinet – and the effect is far prettier than your usual wall of shower heads.
“We wanted to show the potential use for the fixtures in any design setting whether it be modern, minimal, mid-century or Scandinavian,” says Hakim, who was briefed by Astra Walker’s owner Andrew Shirtliff to create a showroom “that excites the senses and inspires the mind.” And it’s obvious that she nailed it.
