Using tiles in a bathroom comes up with a lot of benefits – they are resilient, they bring color and they are easy to clean. One of the more distinct ways you can include tiles in your bathroom design is to use the same tiles on the floors and the walls.
Claesson Koivisto Rune Architects designed this contemporary house in Edsviken, Sweden. Not only have the same patterned green tiles been used on the walls and floors of this bathroom, they’ve also been used on the ceiling!
Shaun Lockyer Architects designed this modern house in Australia. Tiny bright blue tiles cover the floor and one of the walls in this bathroom to add a bold punch of color.

Jean Verville designed this contemporary cabin. The white tiles used on the floor and walls of this bathroom have all been surrounded with black grout to match the black hardware, giving the bathroom a super contemporary look.
