Fashion and interior design always walked side by side. Although many see fashion and interior as two separate worlds, progressively, they are becoming more and more intermingled. And this level of influence is always an interesting topic for debate. September is the month for design and with London Fashion Week and Decorex taking place in the British capital during the next days, we decided to share with you some of our inspirations.

D. Manuel Cabinet from Boca do Lobo tells us the story of king Manuel I, best known for his support of Portuguese maritime exploration. During his reign, Dom Manuel saw his fleet discover India, Brasil, and reach distant lands such as Greenland and Newfound Land, and solidified trading routs and agreements between Persia, China, Morocco and Portugal. This noble cabinet draws inspirations from his legacy and from the latest fashion collection presented in the catwalk.

With the style of a precious jewel, the new Diamond sideboard, will make a splash in interior design since it is one of the hottest color trends since 2013. Like the amethyst Diamond, the new sideboard also features three highly sculptured doors leading to a gold leaf interior with shelving and two drawers while its exterior is presented in silver leaf finished with a luxurious shade of translucent green emerald with high gloss varnish.
