Discover The Eclectic Residential Project by Etch Design Group – The award-winning interior design firm, Etch Design Group, is dedicated to crafting custom residential and commercial design experiences. They believe that the collaboration of the clients in the design creates a space that strikes a delicate balance between purpose and beauty.
Etch Design Group has over 15 years of collective design experience and the company team draws from their creative influences to offer each of their clients a unique experience that is custom-tailored to their individual needs. This beautiful project, from Barton-Creek – Texas, was brought to life by Stephanie Lindsey and Jessica Nelson.
The clients envisioned an upscale study that would serve as a retreat to relax. The navy cabinets and the gold and grey wall covering represent the client’s love for patterns and pops of colour. They also love hunting, hence the zebra rug and hide ottomans, while BEGONIA Armchairs by BRABBU create a juxtaposition with their sophisticated and clean lines.
This residence combines elements of contemporary architecture with the client’s personal eclectic style. The Interior Designers biggest challenge was to create a colourful, eclectic and edgy design, with every room having its own unique characteristics. Every piece of furniture in the house was hand-selected for the client, always with their unique style and preferences in mind.
With the help of Cornerstone Architects as the architect and build by Keith Husbands from Metropolitan Custom Homes, the family is completely thrilled with the final result. They have a colourful, eclectic and edgy taste in design and love Hotel Saint Cecilia, in Austin, which is where the design inspiration began.
The master bedroom is a great example of elegance, as you walk in to see a custom long-haired white Alpaca rug from Black Sheep Unique, with a glamorous cream and gold bed from Modern History Home. Soft hues of cream and grey are paired with vibrant pops of blue in the custom designed drapery panels with a unique embroidered leading edge trim from Travers. MAYA Armchair by BRABBU tops the design off with sophistication.
