Everything You Need To Know About Decorex International 2018 – From the 16th to the 19th of September another edition of Decorex International will take place in London, at Syon Park. This is the first edition of the London-based interior design fair with its new brand director Anna Knight.

Following last years’ successful 40th anniversary edition, this year Decorex International presents Black Canvas as its theme. This concept aims to explore empty space, new beggings and how to create something beautiful from nothing.

Since 1978 that this event gathers interior designers and creative minds, with the purpose of establishing partnerships and strengthen relationships. One of the purposes of the exbihit is to inspire and be inspired by different concepts and products, always focusing on luxury design and bespoke pieces, through brands like Luxxu and PullCast. But this year there are stricter criteria for exhibitors, which means the show will be more focused and refined. Networking is also one of the main goals, and what better way to build a relationship than over a drink at the new and exclusive party on the Tuesday evening of the show.

Each year, the entranceway is designed by a group of handpicked designers. For the 2018 edition, the four chosen designers are the London-based international interior design firm Maddux Creative, whose work is present in homes across the globe; the British designer Brian Woulfe, whose distinctive style has a balance of playfulness and subdued luxury; Henry Prideaux, a British designer with several residential and commercial projects; and Studio Suss, a boutique firm, member of the British Institute of Interior Design, whose style mixes functionality with exquisite design.

The Bar is one of the changes in this edition, being designed by Lambart & Browne. Stepping away from the champagne bar featured in previous years, it will now offer a selection of botanically infused drinks. The tent-like structure will be adorned with decorative screens and luxurious furniture, creating the perfect scenario for the beginning of long-lasting partnerships.
