Learn More About The Clerkenwell Design Week – Clerkenwell is one of the most important design hubs in the world, being home to more creative businesses and architects per square mile than anywhere else on the planet. In order to commemorate the fact of having such a rich and diverse community, CDW created a showcase that features the leading UK and international brands and companies, which are presented in various showroom events, exhibitions and special installations that take place across the area.

Winner of Best UK Tradeshow at the AEO Awards 2016, CDW is now celebrating its 9th year and has established itself as the leading independent design festival in UK and attracts the international design community to Clerkenwell, London, every year for three days of exciting events! In 2017, the design community crowded Clerkenwell with 34,128 visitors and more than 300 exhibiting brands. This year, the event took place on its usual location and its currently active, it started on the 22nd of may and lasts untill the 24th.

Every year Clerkenwell Design Week presents new design projects and street shows, ordered specially for the festival. Inviting some of the leading pioneers in the creative industry, these projects objective is to push the boundaries of design, in terms of concepts, process and material capabilities.

These projects are created to challenge visitors’ perception of design application, as well as to inspire,give them a new insight and entertain them. Cousins + Cousins architects, Studio Weave, Gruppe, Assemble, Monotype, OKAY Studio, Russ + Henshaw, Johnson Tiles, Grimshaw Architects, Sebastian Cox, Laura Ellen Bacon and more, these are some of the participants in some of the previous editions of this event.

Clerkenwell design week also consists of a series of talks and debates, theses have become a world-class arena in which new products are introduced and discussed, this discussions also raise industry issues and network with fellow A&D professionals. These arranged events take place in several showrooms and venues at clerkenwell design week.
