Let’s talk about the Special Events of Maison et Objet. First of all, you have to know that this year’s edition theme it’s SHOWROOM. Vincent Grégoire from the renowned Agency NellyRodi is set to design the Inspirations Space and the Bookshop-Café following this year’s theme, which is about the revolution present in consumer behavior in all things related to decor.
Another point of interest it’s the Designer of The Year section. Cecilie Manz was recognized by Maison et Objet as the designer of the year. Manz is regarded as one of the best Scandinavian designers in the world and her work will be highlighted at the event! The other Special Section of Maison et Objet it’s the Rising Talent Awards. In 2018, this section will feature six young Italian designers which were nominated by influential figures of the industry. They are Federica Biasi, Antonio Facco, Marco Lavit Nicora, Kensaku Oshiro, Federico Peri and Guglielmo Poletti. They all are exposing their work at Maison et Objet 2018!
